I called Airtel on March 01, 2016 to say I lost my dongle and asked them to cancel/ suspend my account so that no further charges are levied. A month later I realised I had not paid for my Feb month usage of the dongle. So I called customer care to say I owe them Rs. 2400. The representative immediately activated a red flag of sorts. I started getting repeated calls asking me to pay 8400 rupees because the account is still active. Its absolutely absurd how they torture their loyal customers!
