Placed order with On-line retailer Amazon: Order id: 171-9555296-4123557 dd: 03/03/2016 and product delivered with invoice: MH-BOM3-140362291-9493 dd:06/03/2016, activated the tablet on March 8th. Barely within one week usage, the battery does not last even for 2 hours, the device perpetually kept on charging non-stop. Though complained on Amazon website they have possible reasons to deny and escalating issue to Amazon Chairman-Jeff Bezos, Amazon India replied to contact iBall on his behalf, inspite of fact they post as follows on their website along the product:
QUOTE: “Warranty & Support: Warranty Details: 1 year manufacturer warranty for device and 6 months manufacturer warranty for in-box accessories including batteries from the date of purchase.”
UNQUOTE: Visited iBall service centre, Vasai West on Saturday April 2, 2016 Between 11.30 am and 1 pm, who have also denied “REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT AND HAVE TAKEN THE DEVICE FOR CHECKING”. The behaviour and replies of Mr Shivaji and Ms Vidya at this service centre were only to satisfy their ego, be adamant, and be above law. This has resulted that the customer is “TREATED LIKE A FOOTBALL BOTH BY ONLINE RETAILER AND SUPPLIER. Please do intervene to bring to closure by getting the replacement as both parties are more than adamant. We spend hard earned money just not be bullied on websites like Amazon, Flipkart.
