I WRITE THIS MESSAGE WITH GREAT REMORSE.
My Order No. 55324881 was placed on 06.06.2015 at 02:32am for Videocon D2H Remote for Rs.245 (prepaid by gift certificate and Citrus Payment).
The remote was received on 12.06.2015 and since the functionality of the remote was not compatible to new HD set top box devices, I initiated a reverse pick up and refund request through the app.
However, the customer service is adamant to not initiate pick up, and instead I am being forced to send the product myself. Why this message is being relayed to me being in complete contradiction to your return policy?
I as a customer am also an Advocate practicing in the Delhi High Court and I am well aware of my rights and know when I am being duped or cheated or when some rules are being sidelined. I feel that the customer service is misguiding me by informing me that I have to send the product to shopclues myself.
May I please inform you that as per your terms and conditions, as my address in New Delhi-110018 is covered under reverse pick up location, shopclues is duty bound to honour its return policy and initiate pick up on their own.
I have been an avid customer of shopclues since January 2014 and have personally generated close to 350 orders so my total spending on your website may have easily gone upwards of Rs.20,000/- and maybe even more. This is just to showcase how well I am aware of your policies about return and refund.
This message should be treated as my last resort. If I do not hear from you within the next 24 hours about initiating pick up of this product, I will consider it as gross negligence on your part as a service provider and e-commerce website aggregator. Under the laws of Consumer Protection Act, I shall be forced to initiate appropriate proceedings.
Kindly take notice, without prejudice to my rights.
