I had bought a A94 smart phone in Mar 14 and was using it till Sep 14 without a problem. The mobile cam in contact with water while travelling & stopped functioning the same day.

on 30th Aug 2014 clearly mentioning that the problem is of water entry and am willing to pay for the repairs / spares as applicable. The service centre (SC) was to provide me a estimate before going ahead with repairs , which they did not. I recd a phone call on Sunday the 7th of Sep saying that the mobile is ready and I can collect the same by paying an amount of Rs.1800plus, which I did. The SC had mentioned that the problem was with the display and the same was replaced. I had checked for the functioning of the display and the same was working OK. However I did not have my SIM at hand and had collected the mobile & brought it home. When I checked the functioning of the mobile at home it was not reading the SIM
I had returned the mobile to service station on 9thSep and SC had again informed me of providing an estimate after analysis which I am still AWAITING. I would like to specifically mention that no job card on paper was provided to me in spite of demanding the same, this time round.SC had asked for the battery also to be given along with the mobile, which I did.
I contacted the SC a couple of times and was informed that the Mobile was ready on Friday 19th Sep & charges of Rs.690plus. . When I visited the Sc I had a tough time convincing them that the battery was kept by the SC, since no Job card/ paper was provided to me. Finally they traced the battery and said that the same was drained and needs to be recharged . The kept me waiting for an hour or more and finally when they offerred the mobile, I found that the neither battery had any charge nor was the SIM reading issue corrected.I was told the problem is because of the battery and asked me to visit again next day and that they would get the battery charged overnight. Again on Sat when i visited in the morning they had done nothing on the same and informed me that they will call and inform me as soon as the mobile is ready.Since no call came for the whole day, I visited again in the evening and the status was the same and now the Sc has provided me a date of Monday 22nd Sep.
I am totally frustrated and disappointed in the quality of services and your mobile. If this is the sort of treatment you are meting out to customer who has agreed to pay for the charges and are coming to authorized SC looking for a quality job, God help those who are looking for warranty redressals. The attitude & response of the Sc has left a lot to be desired and has made it very clear to me that Micromax is worse that the chinese products where they at least are frank enough not to claim any world std or warranties / quality etc.
