My flight 9W7126 to Chandigarh from Delhi on the 25th of January 2015 departing at 14:20 for 2 passengers (Bharat Kataria & Ritika Makkar) had been cancelled at the last moment by the airline. This booking was made via www.goibibo.com
I had a verbal conversation and had sent a mail to the airline immediately and they said that a refund will be made to the website from where the booking was done and they can respond to you accordingly.
The Airline – Jet Airways sent me the following mail:
Ms Makkar, allow me to clarify that, any refund on the ticket is under the control of the issuing agent only. It is an established IATA guidelines. Hence, the applicable refund on the unutilized sector will be issued by your travel agent.
May I also mention that the status of your ticket is on RFND as on February 17, 2015 and I understand that the agent has processed the refund. As required the agent need to raise RAA (Refund application authority) and on receipt of RAA from the agent, our concerned team process the refund. Please share with me the RAA number that your agent may have raised for the below refund post my email, in-order for me to check from my side.

I have been trying to get in touch with Goibibo and it has been around 6 months I have not received my refund. There is no way to get in touch with them as their helpline number does not allow me to speak to any customer care executive. I have also dropped in a mail to email@example.com. to solve your query FASTER than before. When I login and enter my booking number, it shows it is invalid.
I am tired of the ordeal caused by goibibo by being so inconsiderate and unresponsive once their business is done. It has been 6 months I haven’t received my refund and I have constantly trying to get in touch with them, but with no feedback or response. I had also incurred Rs. 4000 travelling charges in order to reach Chandigarh for my sister’s wedding.
Request you to help me demand a hefty compensation from Go Ibibo, to help them learn a lesson and treat their customers fairly and provide good after-sales service.
