I HAD BOUGHT AN ONIDA SPLIT AC WHICH PRODUCES A WHISTLING NOISE FROM THE INDOOR UNIT WHENEVER TURNED ON. I HAD REGISTERED A COMPLAINT OT THE VENDOR AS WELL AS ONIDA CUSTOMER CARE WHO HAD SENT FIVE SERVICE ENGINEERS WHO WERE UNABLE TO DETECT THE PROBLEM. THERE IS NO RESPONSE WHAT SO EVER AND THE COMPLAINT HAS NOT BEEN CLOSED YET. ITS CLEARLY A MANUFACTURING DEFECT OF THE AC UNIT REGARDING WHICH I HAD MAILED THE MANUFACTURER WITH THE SCANNED COPY OF THE INVOICE WITH NO REPLY. I AM AFRAID THE WARRANTY PERIOD WOULD LAPSE BEFORE ANY RESPONSE.
