No response from Snapdeal while selling me a defective AC

72 hours over. Not a single response has yet been received from Snapdeal, Neither a phone call nor some technical support.

I have purchased a brand new AC (carrier superia- 1 ton split)which was delivered just few days ago. 1st day, the person sent by Snapdeal could not install it, it was not working. 2nd day, he detected gas leakage from the copper tube & some other places, cut the portion of the tube, fill up the gas and run the AC for 15 minutes. Some cooling effect was observed. He stopped the M/C took money from us & left.

We do not touch the AC for next two days as it was raining & weather was cool. On 03.03.16 we run the AC for the 1st time. There was no cooling. “EC” noting was coming on display.

Matter was reported to “Customer care” immediately on 03.03.16. The gentleman over the phone totally denied to take any responsibility and told that the matter should be solved
by us by contacting the CARRIER helpline. Next day, in response, the Lady from CARRIER end totally ignored my call by telling that I am not registered with CARRIER, and she did not know the persons who installed my AC & therefore it is now my responsibility to solve
the problem though I have contacted on the number that Snapdeal gave me by message. That number was SD installation no. I immediately dialed that number. also, but the lady on the
other side told me that she is very sorry to say that it is not her job & in no way she could help us.

We are common people & Rs 30990.00 may be a very small amount for Snapdeal but matters a lot for us. Before purchasing from Snapdeal, many persons told us about the harassment that I
may have to face, but we keep faith on Snapdeal. But now it seems that we are wrong.

However, we have faith on GOD & therefore appealing again to replace the AC with new one which has no defect.

But, I will not allow to open the set, doing some operation on it as I have purchased it just now & not used it for a single time, not a 2nd hand item it is which has crossed its warranty period. The word warranty dose not arise here as till date it is nor installed
successfully.

Now it is upto you SNAPDEAL.
