i got a call from NO. 07280909229, he said State bank customer care from noida. He said your atm card is expiring, this call is to get your few information so card will be renewed.
i said him that i will go to my sbi bank branch but he told that atm verification relates with us not with the bank.
*** but how did this guy know that my contact number is using SBI ATM, my dad also got a call for union bank atm verification- how they all knows this?
So he took my atm 16 digit number, n said to give one ID proof-(i gave him my license number).
6-7 messages came on my phone having 6-digit codes, n he asked all and added somewhere in his portal.
this all happened on 14-10-2015 at 12:30 pm.
After that when i checked my netbanking, there money of Rs.25,000 deducted. Balance withdrawn is Rs.24,890 i.e. shown by blue pen mark in the image.
I called that number back, and said him rudely where money gone. He told me “SIR u r behaving improper i will block your account”. “And your money is kept under transition, sbi will refund it in your account in 24 hours.”
3 images of SBI messages of date 15-10-2015 of 8.20, 8.30am are shown, even i blocked my atm at 1.15pm of 14.10.2015. One message if i got on 1st transaction of that bloody guy, i would block that call and saved my Rs. 20-22,000.
SBI bank and their message portal is responsible for my fraud. Why we are paying SBI portal Rs.60-80 annually for the messages, if they won’t come when i need them most. A day before the scam, i took 2500Rs. from atm n i got a message on my mobile, instant. SO WHY WAS IT LATE ON THAT DAY.
If money is not secured in our bank(STATE BANK OF INDIA), then i should keep it in my home??
I had done FIR also in rohini vijayvihar POLICE STATION, but they are only telling me-“DEAR APKA TO 25000 HI NIKLA HAI, LOGO KA LAKHO ME NIKAL RA HAI, and bank jate ho bhaia board me likha hota hai”, “Kaha job kr ra hai, i said near inderlok- they told waha complaint krna ta, they are trying to save themselves”
sir i m having salary account and use atm to get money out, i don’t go generally to SBI rohini sector-1/2 branch.
sir just call that number and track him. Also get the IP address of internet used for shopping transaction. Take a hard action against this contact number and also against the SBI bank (When i visited yesterday in my rohini branch, she simply told me”message can be late an d sbi wont help you in this” ).
Please help me in this regard.
