I bought Xiaomi Mi3 from www.flipkart.com on 22nd July 2014.Got the unit delivered on 25th July. But only after 50 days of use,the So called corning Gorilla Glass screen broke just keeping the phone in hand. I searched it on internet and found that the Chineese company has sold defective units in India and discontinued further sales.I have researched and found many of the users facing the same issue(https://www.facebook.com/XiaomiProblems). Now their customer care executives are saying this to be the physical damage and asking Rs. 6200 for the repair for a Rs. 14000 phone. Since this is under warranty, they should not charge as the screen just broke on its own.
Company should take full liability towards this as they sold the defective units in India.
I would like the company to replace the screen of all such cases and treat them under warranty.
